Meet This Month's Featured Vendor(s)

Autumn Amber Moon draws inspiration from a Gothic aesthetic with a touch of heavy metal influence. With a love for the darker things, they bring you apparel and decor.

Alternative Performers

Madam Kalitah Productions is Sudbury and area’s leading drag entertainment provider, delivering high-energy performances, professional productions, and unforgettable experiences for events of all sizes.

Madam Kalitah - the Queen herself - is the spirit they tried to forget. With lips the color of spilled wine and eyes that hold a thousand unspoken curses, she reigns supreme — a cold queen of chaos who turns dreams into haunting memories.

Catch Madam Kalitah, Ivy Love Taylor, Disaster the Drag Entity, Miss Diamond DeVille, Sterling Silver, Donna Ditz DeVille, Viv Van Dyke, and others at some of our events and socials this year!

Tattoo Artists

"My name is Brandy. I am a tattoo artist with a strong love for black and gray realism, where detail, depth, and storytelling come to life.

Some of my friends call me B - which is fitting as I have a fascination and love for Bees. Hence my studio name - Stung Tattoo.

I’ve been tattooing since May 2023 and enjoy blending technical precision with creativity. While realism is my main focus, I also enjoy exploring some color work.

In addition to tattooing, I’m a Registered Nurse, which brings an added level of care, professionalism, and attention to safety into my practice. I have my own private home tattoo studio in Hanmer, which is fully registered with the city and regularly inspected by the health unit.

Stepping outside of my home studio, I love to tattoo at The Witches and Weirdos events. My father introduced me to the Witches and Weirdos world and I am blessed that Jay and Sav have taken me under their wings. These events allow me to step outside my usual portfolio and create fun, unique flash designs that embrace the strange and whimsical. I also love meeting fellow vendors and connecting with customers—it’s an amazing feeling to be included in such a welcoming community of witches and weirdos."

"The Original 10"

When we launched our first event in May of 2024, we had one mission: Gather as many local witches and weirdo businesses that'll fit in the back of a horror memorabilia shop and shout it from the rooftops. 10 local alternative artists and practitioners believed in our vision and trusted us with the process, and today, we refer to them as the "Originals" or the "Original 10."

Since then, we've had 14 successful events, countless workshops drawing in visitors from North Bay, Manitoulin Island and Vaughn, and over 5000 attendees. The team has worked diligently to grow its collective of 10 vendors to over 80 alternative makers and artists in rotation.

The "Originals" are the foundation of who and what we are today, paving the way for every vendor and practitioner that has come thereafter.

The "Originals" include:

  • Autumn Amber Roses
  • Cross Stitch with Mel
  • Enchanted Accessories
  • Headbangerz Hair Accessories
  • Jay's Bottle Barn
  • Rob Sacchetto - Zombie Art
  • Sparking Apples
  • The Crystal Connect
  • The Frog Cauldron
  • Zone 58

"... I'm glad to be a part of it always."

Rob Sacchetto is the world’s premiere zombie artist and the original creator of the modern Zombie Portrait. Since 2006, he has hand-drawn and painted over 10,000 custom undead creations for fans, collectors, and brands around the globe. Based in Sudbury, Ontario, Rob’s unmistakable style has earned him recognition from AMC’s The Walking Dead, Bicycle Playing Cards, and Rue Morgue Magazine, solidifying his place as a true pioneer in horror-inspired fine art. Each piece is crafted entirely by hand with traditional paint, pen, and ink — no filters, no shortcuts, just raw imagination and decay. Beyond his artwork, Rob hosts nightly livestreams on YouTube (@ZombiePortraits) where he shares his process, offers art lessons, and talks pop culture with fans worldwide. After nearly two decades, he continues to inspire new generations of artists to embrace the strange and celebrate creativity through the art of the undead.

"All of their events are well attended and I think the reason why mostly is because they do absolutely fantastic promotion. I think a little bit of word of mouth too - I know a lot of times when I announce that I'm going to do one of their events a lot of people are excited. A lot of people respond to me saying "I can't wait to be there" and I'm like 'wow, that's really good!' I almost never get that with any other event or market.

I think another great thing that they do is that they have opening door gift bags - I think about 25 or 30  of those are free to folks who attend first and there's always a lineup for those... I think it's great and I think now it's gained a lot of momentum with the public and with fans.
I think that Jerry and Savannah do a lot of good marketing... the two ladies that spearhead the Witches and Weirdos Events, I'm glad to be a part of it always. They are really good at what they do and they are top-notch people. I really appreciate their efforts and I thank them very much for including me in their events." - Rob Sacchetto (Zombie Portraits)

"Cut from the same sparkly black cloth..."

Sparking Apples offers a hand Wood-burned art and laser engraving services. I specializing in one of a kind pieces from original designs, memorial photos, nature scenes, camp signs, decor, oddities and other artistic creations.

"What I love about Witches and Weirdos Events are being with like minded creators. We’re all cut from the same sparkly black cloth and it’s welcoming, never feeling like an outcast, but the most important part is the support I receive from WW event coordinators. They are so easy to work with, always providing us with detailed information and updates. They profile us creators with beautiful promotional images for each vendor, feature talents, and hosts. If a problem comes up, they fix it right away and they are always checking up on us throughout the events.

They go above and beyond and that speaks volumes about their brand. I feel honoured to be apart of their selection which is why I keep signing up." - Nikki (Sparking Apples)

"There is nothing too weird or strange..."

The Frog Cauldron is a metaphysical business in Sudbury that offers various pagan services. Their specialty is Crystal Meditation Malas. All malas are handmade, one of kind malas and are infused with intentions and Reiki. They have pre made malas and are open for customs and collaborations. Along with malas, The Frog Cauldron also offers a variety of other witchy related items, like handmade runes, pocket malas, ritual oils, and various witchy salts. They specialize in Tasseomancy (the art of tea leaf readings) oracle readings, rune readings and Reiki.

"The best thing about the Witches and Weirdos market is a feeling of belonging. Having alternative products makes main stream markets difficult sometimes. But at Witches & Weirdos I feel like I belong. There is nothing too weird or strange for those markets. It’s become a family to me, and I’ve met the most genuine, kindest souls who’ve become very dear to me. At Witches and Weirdos it's not about “competition” it's about “collaboration.”

Jay & Sav have poured their heart and soul into Witches and Weirdos, just so us Witches and Weirdos have a place to call our own. The attention to detail for each themed market is top notch. I feel welcomed, included and cared about." - Aimee (The Frog Cauldron)
